Ingredients
  

Chicken Preparation

  • 6 piece large chicken thighs skinless and bone-in (or bone-less)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil divided
  • 1 tsp paprika mild or smoked
  • ½ tsp brown sugar
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • tsp cayenne pepper optional
  • 1 tsp coarse salt
  • ¼ tsp black cracked pepper

Sauce Preparation

  • ½ cup honey
  • ½ cup unsalted butter
  • 6 cloves garlic finely chppped or minced
  • 2 tbsp low sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp rice wine vinegar
  • salt as required
  • ½ tsp cracked black pepper
  • ¼ cup water, or chicken broth
  • 2 tsp corn starch

Instructions
 

  • Pat the dry boneless, skinless chicken thighs with paper towel.
  • Make a mixture combining 1/2 tablespoon of oil with paprika, brown sugar, garlic, onion, cayenne pepper, coarse salt, and black cracked pepper.
  • Rub the mixture into the chicken and season the chicken.
  • Put those prepared chicken in your clow-cooker.
  • Prepare some butter in the previous pan and add some garlic and sautéfor 1 minute.
  • Stir the whole with the sauce for 1 minute and after that remove the heat.
  • Now pour this sauce preparation into the slow cooker over the chicken and coat both sides eventually.
  • Now cover with a lid and cook on the slow cooker for 3 hours in high settings and for 5 hours in low settings.
  • After that remove the chicken from the cooker and keep in rest for 5-6 minutes.
  • Now whisk 1/4 cup water with 2 teaspoons of cornstarch into a lump-free slurry.
  • Again whisk into sauce and let simmer until thickend into a syrup-like consistency.
  • For a thicker sauce, you must repeat this step with 1 teaspoon extra cornstarch mixed with 2 teaspoons water and cook until reaching your desired concentration.
  • Now, place slow-cooked chicken thighs on a lined baking sheet for baking.
  • Now, baste the chicken with near about 2 tablespoons thickened sauce per chicken thigh.
  • Broil the chicken briefly for 3 minutes on each side to char the edges properly
  • Finally, take out the chicken slices and decorate the serving dish with Honey Garlic Butter Sauce.
